A 13-year-old boy was reportedly found dead by suicide after being denied excessive use of a mobile phone in Sikkim’s Namchi. The child was found hanging from a tree near his home on Saturday afternoon.

According to initial reports, he had been scolded earlier in the day by his mother for spending too much time on the phone. She later became busy with household chores, and when she could not find him. After a search, the teen was found hanging with a nylon rope.
