GREENSBORO, N.C. — Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has launched an online tool to track people who were detained.

It's on the agency's website , all you need is the person's name, birthday and country of origin. The name must be an exact match.

They can be searched after being in custody for more than 48 hours.

You can also use their nine-digit A-number, if you know it, and country of birth.

The tool can't be used for anyone under 18.
