MotorTrend has named the Cadillac ESCALADE IQ the 2026 SUV of the Year, citing its value, luxury, technology and space.

The award highlights an all-electric SUV that MotorTrend says blends American classic luxury with modern tech.

MotorTrend notes the ESCALADE IQ offers a long list of standard features, ample cabin space and strong performance.

In real-world testing, the SUV delivered 415 miles of range, and it can add up to 149 miles in 15 minutes with a DC fast charger. A 5-80% recharge takes 42 minutes, and a full charge requires about 80 minutes.

Its large battery and efficient motors are designed to minimize the compromises often associated with electric ownership.
