PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - A fire-filled crash left six people hurt in Peoria on Sunday, but quick action by a witness may have saved lives.

On Sunday, around 6:35 p.m., three vehicles were involved in a crash on North Sheridan Road. Peoria Police said the car that caused the crash ran a red light.

Jordan Page, who lives directly in front of where the crash occurred, said it was an intense scene.

“It’s only things that you usually see on the internet or in movies, so when it happens in real life and you’re seeing all these graphic things, it’s definitely a shocker,” he said.

Page said when he heard the wreck, which he said happens often on that part of the road, he came outside immediately.
