BRUNSWICK, Ohio --- Several water main breaks along Center Road last summer had Brunswick city officials calling for the City of Cleveland Division of Water to not only repair, but replace the Center Road water main. That wish is expected to become a reality starting this month.

Brunswick City Council approved legislation Oct. 27 last month approving a $630,000 contract with HM Miller Construction Co. – the lone bid received by the city – to replace the existing water main along Center Road, from Garfield Avenue to 400 feet west of Troon Avenue. Consulting City Engineer Jennifer Zoldak said two-way traffic will be maintained throughout the project and called the project scope is “not all of it, but a good portion” of the water main.
