CANTON, Ohio (WOIO) - Police are investigating a shootout at Nazir Grotto banquet hall on the city’s southwest side.

Canton police say at least 75 shell casings were found on scene outside 1717 6th Street SW just after 7:30 p.m. Monday night.

Officers arrived on scene after two security guards and multiple witnesses called about the shooting.

On scene, officers said it was “chaotic” with large crowds inside and outside the hall.

Luckily, no one was hurt.

The shooting was captured on video at a local business and showed multiple shooters opening fire at the building.

While processing the scene, a homeowner told officers a bullet had struck his home and entered through the living room, where he was sitting.

Three vehicles had also been struck by bullets.
