Va La Vineyards was among a handful of eastern and central Pennsylvania wineries that recently received a nice plug from writer Regan Stephens of Wine Enthusiast.
For colleagues of mine who ask if there are any premium wineries worth visiting in the state, the story introduces readers to some that certainly qualify, from Waltz and Cadenza to Vox Vineti and Stony Run .
Now, if only the state would do a better job of protecting and promoting its estate wineries that grow grapes on the premises, providing a brighter future to the industry than it does now, well .... that’s another story for another time, like, well, later this week.
