A pioneering Disney artist and actress has died.
She was 95 years old.
According to The Hollywood Reporter , Eunice “Dawn” Elsie Little Sky — who appeared in onscreen classics such “Gypsy,” “Gunsmoke,” and “The Apple Dumpling Gang” — passed away at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, South Dakota, on October 24.
An obituary written by her family and published to the Sioux Funeral Home website states that Little Sky lived on the Standing Rock Reservation — which straddles the border of North and South Dakota — before attending college at Haskell Indian Nations in Kansas.
