1CLEAR SPRING, MD – State investigators are examining the cause of a devastating early morning house fire in Washington County that claimed the lives of three adults and saw two family dogs rescued from the scene.
Fire crews were called to the 13800 block of National Pike around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday to find a home engulfed in flames.
Deputy State Fire Marshals confirmed that the victims include one adult male and two adult females.
Massive response to early morning blaze
Units from the Clear Spring Volunteer Fire Company and surrounding departments battled the heavy fire as it spread through the home. During a primary search, firefighters located three victims inside who were pronounced dead at the scene. Two dogs were safely removed from the residence and transferred to the Washington C
