Anthony Elanga has been told what he must do to earn a place in the Newcastle United starting line-up after struggling to make an impact following his big-money move from Nottingham Forest.

After starting the season in Eddie Howe's side, the Swedish winger has dropped down the pecking order at St James' Park, with Jacob Murphy now the regular first-choice option on the right-hand side of the forward line.

Elanga has continue to feature, with Howe confident he will start to replicate the form he showed at Forest once he becomes accustomed the way United play.
