The former top-flight official spent 22 years in the division with his first match coming in 2000.

Across that time, Dean took charge of 560 Premier League matches before hanging up his whistle three years ago.
He ended his 37-year career at the end of the 2021/22 season before remaining with the PGMOL as a VAR official for the following campaign.
Reflecting on his time in the Premier League, Dean has now revealed which manager was the hardest to officiate.
Perhaps surprisingly, the 57-year-old does not name Sir Alex Ferguson as his top choice.
