A thoroughfare has reopened in Lafayette after a tree fell and blocked the roadway for hours Tuesday morning, according to police. Lafayette police shortly after 6 a.m. advised drivers to avoid Olympic Boulevard near Olympic Oaks Drive because of a large tree that fell.

Truck crashes into occupied SF hotel room, 2 injured

Police said at about 8:15 a.m. that the roadway had reopened. No other details were immediately available.
