Doctors say a baby boy has defied 'a-million-to-one odds' after surviving a heart attack and losing half of his tongue, having accidentally drunk drain unblocker he mistook for milk.
Sam Anwar was just 13 months old when he snuck past his mum as she cleaned the family bathroom and drank caustic soda from a white bottle. The boy suffered life-threatening burns to his mouth, tongue, lips and airways as well as a heart attack, rendering him unconscious for three minutes, stunning doctors by pulling through.
