Kate Middleton has delivered a public speech for the first time in almost two years.

The Princess of Wales, 43, attended The Future Workforce Summit earlier today (November 18), where she called on business leaders to prioritise "time and tenderness" alongside factors such as profit and success.

At the event, Kate joined 80 business leaders from across Britain at the Salesforce Tower to encourage them to invest in early childhood.

The future queen opened the summit, however, she was not the only prominent figure to speak at today's event, with experts in leadership, human development and early childhood also in attendance.

She spoke out to crowds that gathered at the venue, telling industry leaders how vital it is to build a loving home for a child and ensure the workplace
