Police investigating the disappearance of a man in Hull sadly believe he is the figure seen on CCTV entering the water in the Victoria Dock area.

Sam, 24, was reported missing on November 6, prompting widespread searches and public appeals. He was last seen at about 12.10pm the same day near Axholme Court on Plimsoll Way in Hull.

Humberside Police confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that they had seen a video, which "appears to show a figure entering the water" around 50 metres from Sam's last confirmed sighting, less than 10 minutes later.

Ch Insp Owen Stafford said: “We have now retrieved further CCTV footage which appears to show a figure entering the water approximately 50m from this last sighting, at around 12.19pm.
