Things are looking up for the Niagara IceDogs, though not in a good way.
For the first time since jumping out to a 3-1 start to the Ontario Hockey League regular season, they are beginning a week looking up at other teams in the Central Division standings, instead of being the ones being looked at.
An 0-3-2 record over their last five games has the IceDogs (10-7-2-1) third in the division behind the Barrie Colts (10-7-1-4) and North Bay Battalion (11-9-1).
Niagara, which has two games in hand on Barrie and one on North Bay, is sixth overall in the Eastern Conference, 14 points behind the Brantford Bulldogs (16-0-4-1), their next opponent and a team that has yet to lose in regulation.
