I'm a Celebrity star Alex Scott has revealed the reason that it took "a while" for her to go public on her relationship with singer Jess Glynne.

The former footballer and singer are thought to have been dating since the summer of 2023, before making their relationship public in October of that year.

Last week the couple were spotted saying an emotional goodbye to one another as Alex prepared to jet off to Australia to take part in the latest series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! on ITV .

As the sports presenter, 41, now settles into jungle life, it is understood her stint on the show will be longest she has been away from partner Jess.
