LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A Ukrainian woman who fled her war-torn country has opened a pop-up clothing store in Kentucky, offering specialized workwear designed to protect cosmetologists from beauty chemicals and stains.

Nadiaa Moiseieva owns My Beauty Look Wear, located inside Image Studios in Lexington Green. The shop sells two-piece outfits designed for cosmetologists to work professionally without worrying about ruining everyday clothes while dealing with beauty products and chemicals.

“The clothes we create protects clothes from bleach and gives the clothes a safe from damage,” Moiseieva said.

Addressing industry needs
