WASHINGTON — Three people have been hospitalized after a car crashed into a local restaurant on Tuesday afternoon.

Prince George's County Fire Department was called to the 7500 block of Annapolis Road on Tuesday at 12:22 p.m. for reports of a car crash. When first responders arrived, they found a car had crashed into a Hip Hop Fish & Chicken restaurant.

One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Two additional people were taken to a local hospital for evaluation. Their current conditions are unknown at this time. Information regarding the victims' identities has not been released at this time.

It is unknown what may have caused the crash.
