LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — Diane Fontana quickly left Central Court in Scranton through a side door on Tuesday after a judge ruled that there is enough evidence to move her case to trial.
The 74-year-old is accused of hitting 79-year-old Raymond Bacchiocchi while he was traveling across Bridge Street on his e-bike back in September.
The Lackawanna County District Attorney's Office says Fontana left the scene, and Bacchiocchi later died at the hospital.
"It's been very difficult. It's been very difficult. For me, I've lived with this man for 50 years, and it's been very difficult," said Patricia Bacchiocchi, wife of Raymond Bacchiocchi.
