ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -Tuesday morning for Igal Alon began with picking up the debris from the most recent crash on Gravois Avenue.
“Take the loss, do it ourselves, improve everything that needs to be done,” Alon said.
It was 8:30 a.m. when a van crashed into the tax office on Gravois near Taft in the Bevo neighborhood.
Just last month, police say an “inattentive driver” crashed into the business next door.
Vera Phillips, with Vera Salon, has witnessed several accidents.
“They speed every day, and there’s traffic every day, especially after rush hour, after 4,” Phillips said. “I’ve seen a guy get hit on a motorcycle, I’ve had a client who, unfortunately, her car got hit.”
Phillips was working on a client when she witnessed the first accident.
