ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ill. (First Alert 4) - One person was killed in a construction zone crash in St. Clair County on Tuesday morning.

The Illinois State Police Department said that two truck-tractor semi-trailers, a utility work truck and a Ford Bronco were involved in a crash on Interstate 64 near milepost 14 in O’Fallon just before 8 a.m. One person died as a result of the crash. It is not known which vehicle the person was in when the crash occurred.

No construction zone workers were injured. There are also no reports of damage to any Illinois Department of Transportation or construction vehicles.

No other details have been released.
