SPRING HILL, Tenn. (WSMV) - Parents are asking Williamson County school district leaders to take action after they say their first-grade daughter was assaulted and threatened while at class.

When Clint Browning and his wife moved to Tennessee, they knew they would enroll their children in Williamson County Schools.

“We looked at Williamson County, and we saw all the reviews, and, you know, we were like, this seems like the best place for us to, you know, plant our family tree and grow roots,” Browning said.

Browning says he never expected to be trying to get school leaders to handle what he calls a serious situation.

October incident escalates to scissors threat

Browning says the incidents have happened since the start of the school year in August.
