SPOKANE, Wash — Spokane Regional Emergency Communications (SREC) announced on Tuesday the launch of a new automated non-emergency triage system in its dispatch center for Crime Check calls.
Built by the company, Prepared, SREC says the platform allows dispatch to quickly connect non-emergency callers to the right resources while conserving personnel for urgent emergencies. The addition to SREC's technology suite aims to improve its ability to effectively and efficiently respond to emergencies and non-emergencies in the community.
