HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Get ready for “A Season of Stars” as Kapolei City Lights returns to Leeward Oahu on Saturday, Dec. 6.

To welcome the holiday season, the city Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) is hosting a free, family-friendly opening night block party and parade.

Block party

Featuring over 60 local vendors, a festive holiday car showcase, live music, and plenty of local grinds, the block party is scheduled from 5 to 9 p.m. on the streets around Kapolei Hale.

Enjoy an amazing lineup of local entertainment and events on the stage near the mauka end of Kapolei Hale. Emceed by KSSK’s Curt Williams and Councilmember Andria Tupola, this venue will offer the following scheduled performances:
