INDIANAPOLIS — Residents in downtown Indianapolis are upset over the lack of safety at one busy intersection and they plan to protest over it.

Neighbors with the Chatham Arch Neighborhood Association say the six-stop intersection at Massachusetts Avenue, St. Clair Street and College Avenue is causing concern.

"I see countless people run red lights through here every single day," Jeffrey Thompkins said. "People are fed up and our most vulnerable residents are still vulnerable to these drivers."

His frustration comes not only from drivers, but from orange barricades at the intersection.

"The Chatham Arch neighborhood is sick of seeing these orange barricades. They don't look good. but also they're not working," Thompkins said.
