ASCENSION PARISH, La. (WAFB) - A 19-year-old man wounded two people in a shooting at the Pelican Pub early Saturday morning, according to the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Colby Breaux is responsible for firing shots around 1:15 a.m. at the strip in Gonzales, authorities said. He’s charged with attempted second-degree murder, second-degree battery, and illegal use of weapons. The gunfire broke out after a physical altercation.

“When we got to the scene, at least one of them there had received about three gunshot wounds, I think in the upper body and lower body,” said Donovan Jackson, Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office public information officer.
