TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A Pascua Yaqui man will spend the next decade in prison after being convicted in a child porn case.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said 35-year-old Richard Alex Buitimea was sentenced to 10 years in prison last week.

Prosecutors said one of Buitimea’s cloud accounts had more than 1,000 photos and 21 videos of child porn.

When a search warrant was executed at Buitimea’s homes, investigators found that his phone was smashed and factory reset, which made it impossible to review it.
