LOUISVILLE, Ky. — UPS Airlines President Bill Moore spoke at a Tuesday news conference on the deadly UPS airlines crash two weeks ago. It was the first time anyone from the airline had spoken publicly or taken media questions since the crash.

"Well I can assure you we've been exceptionally busy trying to take care of all the things that I briefed you on," Moore said. "And frankly, our first priority was making sure we took care of the victims' families, and trying to make sure they had the resources they needed."

Moore said he learned about the crash via a phone call from someone at the UPS Worldport within 15 minutes of it taking place. The airline then notified the NTSB, and activated several of its emergency response protocols.
