RICHLAND COUNTY, Wis. (WMTV) - A woman suffered minor injuries after crashing her vehicle into Horse Creek in Richland County Tuesday morning, the Sheriff’s Office reported.

According to a Facebook post by the Sheriff’s Office, Kathleen Banker was heading northbound on State Highway 80, approaching County Highway A.

Her vehicle then crossed the center line and went into oncoming traffic.

Another driver who was heading southbound on State Highway 80 veered off the road and drove into a cornfield to avoid the collision.

Banker’s vehicle submerged into about three feet of water.

Officials helped in removing her from the vehicle.

Richland County authorities cited banker for failure to keep control of her vehicle.
