ROCHESTER, Minn. — Rochester Public Schools recently shared its annual state-required achievement report and unveiled new goals for students from kindergarten through high school.

The report, presented on Tuesday, detailed student performance and outlined areas for improvement. It highlighted the district's focus on kindergarten readiness, closing achievement gaps, career and college readiness, and graduation rates.

"This is the last year we will be operating under this plan," Dr. Kent Pekel said, referring to the district's current strategy.
