Firefighters battled a large fire at a restaurant inside Foxwoods Resort Casino in Ledyard on Tuesday night.

The fire reportedly originated at David Burke Prime steakhouse in the Grand Pequot Tower, according to the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation Fire Department .

Fire officials said they were working with multiple emergency response teams.

“The health and safety of our guests and team members remains our top priority. Impacted areas are currently safe and secure from guests,” fire officials said in a statement .
