Two men have been charged following a spate of alleged break-ins in Sydney’s east.

Eastern Beaches Police Area Command launched an investigation this month after reports of thousands of dollars’ worth of items being stolen in the Kensington area.

Power tools were allegedly stolen from a ute, after a unit complex carpark on Anzac Parade at Kensington was allegedly broken into about 8am on November 1.

The same carpark was reportedly targeted again about 2am the next day, with bicycle allegedly taken from a bicycle rack.

Two mountain bikes were then allegedly stolen from the carpark about 2am on November 3.

Initial investigations allege the three incidents were linked, a NSW Police statement said.

The total value of the allegedly targeted items was approximately more than $15,000.
