CHANDIGARH: Anmol Bishnoi, identified by investigators as a key culprit in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case and the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has been deported from the United States and is expected to land in India on Wednesday. Teams from the National Investigation Agency and Delhi Police remained stationed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport to take him into custody as soon as he arrives.
Anmol, who hails from Fazilka in Punjab, has long been seen as one of the most active members of the Bishnoi gang operating abroad. His role in supplying weapons and logistics to the shooters who killed Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in village Moosa in 2022 forms a major part of the investigations into Punjab’s gang networks.
