A major accident was reported on Dhole Patil Road when a concrete slab collapsed during the renovation work of a hotel. The incident caused panic in the area as two labourers were trapped under the debris.
According to officials, renovation work was underway when the slab suddenly gave way. Nearby workers immediately alerted the fire department after hearing loud noises and noticing the trapped individuals.
The Pune Fire Brigade swiftly responded to the emergency. Three fire vehicles were rushed to the spot, and firefighters began rescue operations without delay. Their timely intervention proved crucial in reaching the injured workers.
