Snow has been seen falling in London this morning.

Images this morning show the white stuff falling in Queen's Park, North West London , as well as around Northholt. Piers Morgan even took to X to share footage of snow coming down in West London.

It comes after the Met Office issued several weather warnings for snow and ice across the country. An amber alert has also been issued for parts of Yorkshire and the North East, where as much as 25cm (10 inches) could fall.

The Met Office said temperatures could drop as low as -11C overnight on Thursday in parts of Scotland. The adverse weather is expected to cause disruption on roads across the country.
