Britain's biggest burglary hotspots have been revealed in new figures - and you can check whether your area made the list.

More than 245,000 burglaries were recorded during the 2024-25 financial year - of which more than two-thirds (67.91%) targeted residential properties - according to the most recent property crime statistics from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

And as the nights draw in and the Christmas period approaches, experts have warned that autumn and winter is peak season for break-ins - with some areas recording a 38% spike between October and December.
