After winning court judgment against her cousin, woman finds it suspicious that her car’s lugnuts were loosened: Beachwood

BEACHWOOD, Ohio --

At 9:55 p.m. Nov. 16, police met with a woman at her residence at The Vantage apartments, 27060 Cedar Road.

The woman told police that she is involved in a legal dispute with her female cousin, as the cousin believes the woman owes approximately $6,000 to the cousin’s parents.

The woman said she recently won a court judgment against her cousin and then, shortly after, as she drove to work, found that one of the tires on her car was wobbly. The woman pulled over and learned that one lugnut was missing, and the others on the tire were loosened.

She believes her cousin was responsible. She did not believe her cousin actually loosened the lugnuts, but rather had someone else perform the act. The woman said she wanted to make police aware of the inc
