It’s sweater weather here in Greater Boston! Cold weather has settled into our area, with many communities starting this Wednesday with temperatures in the 20s and 30s.

Highs this afternoon will reach the mid 40s under a mix of sun and clouds.

Later tonight, temperatures will again drop into the 20s and 30s under mostly cloudy skies.

A weak weather system will likely pass just to our south. Most of our area should remain dry, but a few clouds are forecast to linger into our Thursday.

High temperatures on Thursday will be in the mid 40s.

Southwest winds will bring milder weather to southern New England by Friday. High temperatures will be in the low 50s.

Enjoy it because the warmup will be brief.
