It’s been wicked cold across Greater Boston this morning. Many neighborhoods have started this Thursday with temperatures in the 20s and 30s.

But by this afternoon, our high temperatures will climb into the mid 40s under partly sunny skies.

Tonight, our temperatures will once again fall into the 20s and 30s into Friday morning.

Our temperatures will warm up by Friday afternoon. In fact, southwest winds will push our highs into the low 50s! But the warmup will be brief.

A weak cold front will slide through our area into Saturday, giving way to highs in the upper 40s by Saturday and into the mid 40s on Sunday.
