HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - As expected, we’ve seen rain across Southern Nebraska and Northern Kansas since last night and it continues into this morning. An area that has surprised me with a little more rain than expected is across Central Nebraska where a band of rain set up. Those areas may end out with up to a quarter of an inch of rain before the day is done. By far, the highest amounts have been in Northern Kansas where some have received over an inch of rain. Showers will continue today across Southern Nebraska and Northern Kansas. It will then start to clear out through the afternoon and early evening. Most will remain cloudy and quite cool. Those areas will also be quite breezy. Expected highs only in the 40s . The best weather of the day will be in Northwest Nebraska where no rain is
