FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. (KFVS) - A special city council meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 19, in Fredericktown.
Normally, the council meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month for regular sessions.
The special meeting has been called to discuss a specific issue during a closed session.
This meeting comes after the city’s alderman voted last week to impeach the town’s mayor , Travis Parker.
The board of aldermen voted 4-2 to proceed with articles of impeachment against Mayor Parker.
Wednesday’s meeting will get underway at 5:30 p.m. at the city police station.
