A man who is on the run poses a significant threat to women and is a danger to the public, according to Devon and Cornwall Police .

Tobias King, 36, of Teignmouth , is being sought in connection with a serious attack on a woman in the Honiton area on Saturday, November 8.

Police said the attack left the woman with multiple injuries which required treatment in hospital.

Detective Inspector Emma Lefort said: "We believe Tobias King poses a danger to the public and in particular a significant threat to women.

"I am urging members of the public to report any sightings of him to us immediately by calling 999.
