The Des Moines School Board has unanimously accepted the resignation of Chief Academic Officer Robert Lundin, who has been on paid administrative leave since Oct. 6.

The motion to accept Lundin's resignation during a special meeting Tuesday, Nov. 18, passed 5-0. The vote followed two closed sessions.

Lundin's resignation is effective June 30, 2026.
