A suspect has officially been charged in the murder of “Parks and Recreation” star Jonathan Joss.
The late actor’s neighbor, Sigfredo Ceja Alvarez, was indicted for one count of murder by a grand jury in Bexar County, Texas, on Monday, according to Bexar County court records obtained by People .
Ceja Alvarez had previously been arrested on a charge of first-degree murder following Joss’ death before being released.
Joss, whose legal name was Jonathan Joss Gonzales, was fatally shot outside his San Antonio home following an alleged fight with Ceja Alvarez on June 1. He was 59.
The “King of the Hill” voice actor was reportedly found lying “near the roadway” when authorities were dispatched to a shooting in progress, and arrested Ceja Alvarez.
