GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Leaders with the University of Florida are breaking ground on the school’s Hamilton School, which is located in UF’s historic former Infirmary building on Fletcher Dr.

UF officials say, this is where tradition meets transformation.

The university’s architectural building will be lined with lecture halls and seminar rooms with a design that preserves the collegiate Gothic–style structure, which is listed on the national register of historic places. the unique space will provide collaborative classrooms, seminar lounges, a winter garden, and other modern amenities.
