A couple of coaches with NFL ties could be in the mix for the Penn State job, according to college football reporter Bruce Feldman.
The FOX Sports insider joined Chris Fallica for his podcast last Friday and mentioned a recently fired NFL head coach as a possibility to take over the Nittany Lions program.
“Two other names to keep an eye on that we’ve heard that have emerged as candidates of interest – one is Brian Daboll, the recently fired Giants head coach,“ Feldman said. ”Remember, he was the Alabama offensive coordinator when they won the national title in 2017."
As Feldman said, Daboll was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Alabama in 2017, before leaving to become the Bills offensive coordinator.
He held that position from 2018-21, before taking over as the G
