HERMITAGE A Wheatland man died Saturday from injuries he suffered earlier this month when a vehicle struck him while he was walking along a road in Hermitage.
George Horbatuck, 44, died four days after the crash, Hermitage Police Chief Adam Piccirillo told 21 News.
Officers were called to Mercer Avenue last Wednesday just after 6 p.m. for a report of a crash involving a pedestrian.
Piccirillo said Horbatuck was walking north on the southbound shoulder of Mercer Avenue southwest of South Buhl Farm Drive at the time of the incident.
A vehicle driven by a West Middlesex man was traveling south when it struck Horbatuck.
Ambulance crews treated Horbatuck at the scene before he was flown to a regional trauma center with severe injuries.
