Former Harvard University president Larry Summers on Monday night said he would step back from public “commitments” amid growing outrage over his association with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. The statement came hours after Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren urged Harvard to break ties with Summers, who leads the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at Harvard Kennedy School.
