The Dancing with the Stars finale is going to be a tough one, with Dylan Efron and “proud” LGBTQ+ ally Robert Irwin among those hoping to lift the mirrorball trophy.

On Tuesday (18 November), the remaining celebrities took part in a Prince-themed semi-final. Influencers Alix Earle and Whitney Leavitt, gymnast Jordan Chiles, and Dynasty star Elaine Hendrix were looking to make it to the final alongside The Traitors US winner Efron and conservationist and LGBTQ+ ally Irwin.

In the end, Leavitt and her partner, Mark Ballas, the son of Strictly Come Dancing’s Shirley, had to leave the show despite a track record of high scores.

Irwin, following in sister Bindi’s footsteps on the show, got a perfect score for his first dance, a jive, and was one point short of repeating that feat in the seco
